Off the back of our November City Support dinners, which we hosted together with St Vincent de Paul Society Australia and The Salvation Army Australia, Mackie took 5 with our team to share the impact of his first City Support volunteer shift.

“My favourite part of City Support was seeing how grateful all our guests were to sit down and enjoy a healthy and delicious meal.

Describing City Support as busy, rewarding, and impactful, Mackie says his most memorable moment came down to a conversation that he’ll never forget.

“I was chatting to a single parent with three children, and despite the situation they were in, the selflessness and gratitude they showed had an incredible impact on me”.
